Anyone can sign up for renting tips and guidance through our website. But if your property partners with Roost to offer some extra nice features, your sign-up process should follow these four steps below. Issues along the way? Contact us.
- Open your sign up invitation email. You’ll get an email with a link inviting you to sign up. Don’t have this email yet? We might be waiting on your leasing office or it’s lost in cyberspace. If it doesn’t show up, shoot us a note.
- Start sign up. We’ll confirm your lease info via your unit number or your phone number and then do a quick identity check to ensure you’re you!
- Link your checking account. This enables you to pay your refundable deposits at move-in and get your refund money at move-out. We use Plaid to link your account, a common linking service used by financial institutions including Venmo, American Express and Chime. We don’t store your info.
- Pay your deposit, if applicable. If you’re just moving in, we’ll prompt you to pay your deposit. If you’re already a resident, you’re all done!
